Dockers Men's Beacon Boat Shoe - Comfortable Casual Loafers for Men | Perfect for Sailing, Boating & Summer Outfits

It’s a good shoe except for the following: Number 1 , I wear a 10 - 10 1/2D in everything else I own. Had to send these back to Amazon twice to get this size 11 W for them to feel comfortable. Number 2, The tongue is not leather, and every time I slide them on, the tongue wants to slide down into the shoe. I have been boating and Sailing my whole life and never had a set of boat shoes that were so hard to just slip on without having to bend over and pull up the tongue. I understand Manufacturing and trying to save a buck, but this is not the way to do it. Because of this, I’m sorry that I didn’t send these back. I took some Kevlar thread and stitched the tongue up near the upper lace eyelet but I see that’s pulling through the fabric tongue. Now I,ve ordered some 3/16 eyelets and a setting tool to put in a more substantial mechanical fastener. I’ll see how that works. Signed Doug.
