I had plantar fasciitis and some back issues. My podiatrist recommended Brooks. Based on the criteria, I chose the Ghost in a size 11 and was very pleased. They were expensive, but the most comfortable running shoes I’ve ever purchased. Worth every penny! So I decided to try the Revel 2, also in an 11, since it had a similar construction profile. I had to send back and get a 11.5. Once I got them, they fit a little tight in the toe area. The heel is well cushioned, but the arch seems a little snug. I really like the textured look and trim and the shoe is extremely light weight. Probably a little too lightweight for me. I have become a true Brooks fan, but for my needs, the Ghost is probably the right shoe for me.
