I alwasys buy 2 sizes since my right foot is usually a size 9. This time, both feet fit in the 9 and I am sending back the 9.5. The M width fits perfectly. I haven't worn one size in many years. There is so much padding in the heel that my feet don't slip out. See the center picture that shows my heel is shorter in that right foot. I don't wear orthotics and they fit perfectly with the thick cushy insoles. I am wearing them without socks and my feet don't slip at all. I always bandage my toes which move around and get damaged with my "can't feel" neuropathy so that will still be standard, but WOW, what comfort. I know I will get more Drews. And if I wear orthotics one day, there's room to replace the extra one in this great shoe. Again, WOW! Worth every penny. I am already looking for more styles, even on their own website. Glad to find them on Amazon at a good price!
