its a great time saver. Sturdy and easy to organize. I've cut my shoebox size pill box of vitamins and supplements and prescriptions down to two 6-section Pill Organizers one for day time and one for night time. I can easily fit an entire 3 months supply of my prescriptions in one individual section. What I did was carefully peel the script off the bottle and re-adhere the script to the side of the bottle so I know what I am taking, or you can use the handy labels provided. I am no longer reaching for multiple bottles pills that I would have to open individually and hope I don't fumble and spill the whole lot of pills on the floor. Don't laugh it has happened to me before. I just turn the top to the pill I want and open the lid and out they come. There are a lot of pros to having a system like this. I am more organized and can find my pills easier since they are in one container parted out into 6 spacious compartments. I can clearly see the pills in their compartments and my labeling system works great to identify similar looking pills in the case. It has that smoke plastic color to block light and keep your pills their freshest. It has a convenient turnstile cap with a trap door lid that will accommodate the largest pills in my arsenal. It's not too big and not too small. Kind of squatty in a good way. The pill case is stout but fits perfectly in my hand to securely grip it . The cap is easy to turn and compartments are easy to line up so that you don't access the wrong pill selection. I haven't dropped it yet and I don't intend to but I heard from other reviews that it is well constructed virtually indestructible. We don't want to test that but so far so good. Now for the cons. I only have 2 complaints which are pretty minor because I am not perfect either. The trap door lid is a tad bit tough to open and close. I feel like I may be rough on it one day while opening it and it may eventually break off. I know I am heavy handed and so to counteract that I have been placing my thumb on the edge and my index finger on the top and I leverage the lid by pinching my two fingers together and prying the lid gently back so that I do not over extend it. Its only plastic so treat it as such. Closing the lid I take the entire container in two hands and use the counter top overhang to firmly push the lid back into its closed position. I find that when I use my index finger by itself it take a lot of pressure to mash t down till you hear the click. The way I do it uses the entire bottle itself and both hands to easily close the lid by pushing it up under the counter ledge till it clicks shut. The only other con is that it is easy to pour more pills out than necessary. For me it happens nearly every time. I simply put back the pills I don't need but it would be nice to be able to have just one come out at a time. The case would be perfect then. But overall I am very pleased with it. The entire lid pops off for easy filling. Seriously for the money. You can't beat it and they stacks away in my cabinet and I love it. I may get a few more to store nuts and bolts and whatever I have that I want attacked neatly.
