My first pair of Columbia shoes (different model) didn't hold up, which made me leery of buying another Columbia branded pair of shoes. This pair proved me wrong and has been quite comfortable and thus far infinitely more durable than I expected. The only complaint, which is a complaint I have for all lightly colored shoes, is how quickly they become dirty. It's like the shoes have their own gravity generators for dirt.For months I bought and returned a dozen pairs of hiking shoes. It got to the point where my partner said the UPS guy should just wait for me to try on a pair because it was so likely I'd be returning them the next day that it would save them the hassle of coming back, lol. I tried $100 pairs, $150 pairs, etc and they were all too stiff or uncomfortable or something.But these, which I got on sale for 30-something are far better than all the rest. The toe box has a huge amount of room, the sole forms to your foot over the first couple uses, and it actually has some arch support because of the way it forms to your foot. They also breathe very well and my feet are never sweaty, even after hours of hiking in hot weather. They're just fantastic.If you can get past the funny looking heel, it’s a good shoe for basic trail use. Plus it comes in a wide. Good traction without mud-gobbing lugs. Fair arch support. Relatively light weight. Used them to hike light to moderate trails in Maui.Great for hiking, super comfy and lightweight. However, these shoes do absolutely terrible on any wet surface. Hiked 9 miles up to Ypsilon Lake in the Rockies in these and they did decent in snow, but something about wet smooth surfaces, this shoe does NOT like.I have wide feet so I went with the "Wide" size and it fits great, some people find it "tight" but keep in mind these are hiking shoes, you don't want loose shoes, you don't want to roll/sprain your ankle.Aside from the purpose of the shoe i greatly like the design, it's similar to "walking" shoes but i like the grip it has on the bottom sole. Exactly what I was looking for.Comfortable, great price and look great!Holy *#*# these shoes are so comfortable and just what I wanted in a shoeWhat can I say other than they are shoes, they go on my feet, the size was good, comfortable and dare I say look really good because my wife and son both said it. Not waterproof but I knew that and didn’t order thinking that they were. Thank you MR ColumbiaI have had thse shoes for 7 days exactly.They are very comfortable and the sizing was perfect. However, the shoes are already falling apart.The button securing the back pull tab fell off on day one of owning the shoes and the sole on the back of the right shoe is already separating.This is one week of day to day usage and not even being worn every day. I plan to contact support and will update with their response.Overall dissatisfied with this purchase. I love the shoes but can't seem them even lasting one year.A good fit to the size and feels comfortable. Seems to be good quality at a glance but have not worn these long term yet. Great design and overall look, plus good materials used.Súper cómodo. La talla correcta, eso si, la caja dice "wide" que viene mas amplio. Mi pie es delgado, y no queda tan ancho, queda muy cómodo. Columbia es calidadBought a size 12 regular. Amazon sent me a size 12 wide. Shoes are to large because of the error on their part. Now I can't return to get the right size, because the website says there are none available in the size I paid for. The shoes themselves are comfortable, and insoles seem to have solved the size issue. Wish they had sent me what I paid for though ?.
