The Adidas Boost material was a game changer for my running. I guess it's just perfect for my weight and running style. I'm a man, size 9.5-10, but I swear by the fit of 11.5 womens. as well. The Pureboost Go and Ultraboost are my sweet spot. I picked these Astrarun shoes up as a trial, for a good deal.Running shoes are highly dependent on a person's foot, gait, strike pattern, etc. I don't need to tell you that. Nonetheless here's my first impressions. They're definitely stiffer, through the midsole and toes, but boosty and cushy at the heel (where I need it). I can't tell if I like it or not. Probably need to give it 20 miles to break in.This is not a sock style shoe. It has a traditional tongue without a high-up loop to keep the tongue in place, but id didn't move around too much. I noticed a little rubbing on the inside of the ankle when the highest laces were added. Took those out, but the opening feels a bit too large for my foot (perhaps this is why as a man, I tend to like the ladies shoes?). The top is slippery and there is a bit of a feeling of movement, but it's arrested by the stiffer upper (non-sock).
