I bought these to stretch out some Steve Madden flatform sneakers. The shoes were too tight on my heel and my right pinky toe was getting squished which made the shoes terribly painful. The pressure pods are made of plastic but the helped reshape/customize the shoe to make it comfortable by adding room into those specific areas and the heel stretched out nicely.The shoes are made of textured fabric with elastic on the front sides so I was worried it wouldn't work or would ruin the design but these worked like a charm! I am able to wear these now all the time with no issues.
