I love wearing my Keen Sandals when I Kayak, beach etc. However after a kayaking excursion on a vacation in Antigua I knew I had to find a better shoe for my water/hiking activities. I was getting far too many stones and debris in my keens when we would hike to different areas that we kayaked to. I decided I need an enclosed water shoe. After have great results with other Baffin products I thought I would give their water shoe a try and I am thrilled that I did. These shoes fit great, drain water without issue are great for light hiking and most importantly keep out all the debris that you come across in streams, lakes, etc.Shoes look good and feel good...until they get wet. While they do shed water as designed, (and do it well) my soles hold water and do not dry out even after sitting overnight. Also when wet they started an annoying squeak at every step. If you plan on doing another activity (other than water related) you will need a second pair of shoes, which is why I dock them two stars.The toe is a little boxier than the images suggests, and the color a little more to the neon green. Still, the shoes are sturdy and I'll enjou kayaking in them.I wear and 9.5 and there were no half sizes available so I ordered size 10, returning them for size 9.Made mistake when ordering didn't relize they where for water walking, they will be fine in spring, summer and Autumn, where with black socks, very Comfortable !They fit a bit smaller than I prefer, but are ok and don't hurt my toes or anything. These are fast drying mesh shoes and will not keep water out by design.
