Sleek and laid back, this low-cut skate shoe delivers minimal effort with style. At Globe they have a healthy disrespect for the established way of doing things, and they embrace new ways of looking at the world. For them, it's always a time for change. In this day and age they've adopted a KNOW HOPE philosophy, whereby they are looking at the future with wide eyes and taking every opportunity to be creative. Globe team riders, who happen to be some of the best in the world, are a party to the products, but Globe also listens to their customers, constantly evolving with them, so they don't lose their edge. It's what keeps them inspired, progressive and able to stay fresh when so many others are pushing the same-old sameness.

These are stiff \ hard soles, you might have to break them in. Definitely, cannot compare to my old higher topped Globes or Vans Hi-Sk8, but given the price, I never expected them, too. They actually have more skate technical features in the sole, than I was expecting for the price.Right now, I wouldn't wear them for hours of walking, skating, cycling, driving. We'll see if they get better.I have very high arches, so there's too much pressure if I tie tight. The tongue just barely stays in the shoe, keeping my socks from view, so they're almost too small for my arch. It was a bit of a risk, since I often cannot comfortably fit this style of shoe and generally should only try before I buy.I think this is more of a me problem, because I've been wearing only Reef and Keen for the last few years, bare or toe socks only, so I find certain kinds of standing and pressure on my feet cause some parts of my foot to go to sleep. Given this issue, I'm going to avoid wearing any socks with any compression with them and see if it improves. The narrower toe box means my toes can't splay, like they do on\in the sandals. My heels do pop out of the shoe, but they're still right there, when my foot comes back down. That isn't ideal for cycling (or specific aspects of skating), but I haven't lost my shoes or had an accident yet. These are really low, they show quite a bit of my Injinji mini crew and I'm not confident that a no show sock would be hidden, either. These are definitely some of the best shoes I've purchased in years. They fit nicely, are very visually appealing, and have garnered several compliments from associates and acquaintances. I really love the gorgeous and suede exterior and the red coloring pattern on the inner cushioning. My only issue with this pair of shoes were the inner soles and their excessive stiffness. I needed to eventually replace them with Dr Scholl's inner sole foot pads in order to make them much more comfortable and tolerable. In addition to this, the original inner soles came with a very attractive emblem of the shoe's name etched onto it, but came off after a month's worth of moderate usage. For these reasons, I have awarded these shoes 4 stars instead of 5. All in all, however, I would still consider re-buying these again after my current pair reaches the end of their useful life.Although I adore these shoes, the two different variations I bought are clearly different in padding thickness around the ankle and tongue, and quite frankly one pair is too hot to wear in warmer when you would most likely be outside skating the most often. I searched all over the page for any kind of notice that these shoes were not identical styles, but could not find anything between them that would site the noticeable difference. I'm going to order another pair because since they are by far the best skating shoe I've ever had, but if the model that shoes up is the thicker pad variant I'm going to have to ask for a refund.Well, first off I'm a girl. I was looking for a new pair of vans and I ran into these for a great price and decided to give them a try. I was a little worried about the fit, because there is no size conversion chart. I'm usually an 9-9.5 in womens, I went with the mens (US) 8 and they fit great. I think they look pretty good, but I am the type of girl to rock vans (I like the atwood) or converse. These are a little more "clunky" than the vans atwood, but I think still narrow enough it doesn't look like I stole my boyfriends shoes. I'm including a pic of the size chart from the box, hope this helps.I've worn them for a bit now and after a long boarding session they tend to hurt my heels. The cushion wears slightly, creating a sharp edge along the top and they rub up against your heels a lot. The back wasn't made with much cushion support. They need to add a better layer there before I'd consider getting another pair. I may sew a piece of leather along the back side just to add something that wont rub up against your heel. That being said, they do hold up well and I haven't noticed a lot of wear on the bottom from boarding so that's nice. The sizing feels good too.Globe is in my opinion the best skate shoe maker. I live in Vermont, and I find the grip on the bottom suits me better on ice and snow than yak tracks. Obviously not the original intention of a skate shoe, but I value these as all terrain kicks. They accomplish much more than some of the boots I've owned at 2 or 3 times the price of these awesome kicks. Cornet Blue is a good hue and shade for blending with both lighter and darker blues.excelente calidad del tenni, llegaron antes de lo esperadoToo small for me but my little brother loves them. I'm a girl but usually a size 7.5 in mens. The shoe is definitely a quality product but sizing is off. I should've ordered the extra half a size. :/ They're just small enough to be uncomfortable after wearing for an hour. Too narrow and tight in the length.Fit was good, and for the price I'd say it was worth it. I commute everyday to work, and it was pretty comfy. It came with both dark blue and white laces, which was a nice touch. I eventually swapped the laces out for Xpand laces "No Tie" laces, which only made these even more comfortable and very to slip on. The shoes held up well throughout the winter as well, except for the logo at the heel ironically. The logo started peeling off, but it didn't affect the rest of the shoe at all. My shoes have a lot of salt stains in them now, but that's my fault for using them in the winter.Nice shoes that come with 2 pair of lace 1 black 1 white. The goodQuality productConfortable2 pair of laceGood lookingSuper styleGreat priceThe badNoneReally well made, and I got a smoking deal on them. They fit fairly true to their number size, though I could have gone for a half size small and been alright. Comfortable for this style of shoe.
