this is an effective and economical organizer for my set of amazon basics acrylics. i suppose it could also be used for lip glosses and lipstick - i was able to fit a (square) tube of maybelline superstay vinyl ink in a slot. the compact design is appreciated and while the stand can be oriented horizontally or vertically, it has more stablity when set vertically.while the stand is mostly sturdy, the acrylic could be thicker to give a sense of survivability in a fall to a hard surface. also, one of the photos shows paintbrushes being stored in the slots and that's not possible - the slots are too shallow.
