love these shoes i recently did a review on these and the xpds but after wearing the xpds for a bit i found that the regular protocols are way better on my feet i originally had the all blacks with the white osiris logo and just bought my second pair which is grey and black they dont have them on amazon in size 12 wear anymore but im loving these grey kicks better than the black ones they stay cleaner osiris is the only brand i found that doesnt hurt my feet i stay comfortable all day be cautious when washing them in the washer you may want to carefully remove the footbed so the foam under the heel doesnt damage i like the heel foam underneath the footbed its real comfy so just keep that in mind when washing because the washer can damage itI've gone through two pairs of these shoes and have a third on the way. They do last a significant amount of time for shoes but I know I'm hard on my shoes as I live in Colorado and am an outdoors person. I'd say each pair lasts at least 8 months to a year. And I personally don't mind spending only 40 bucks for something I can use for that long.I've tried a different model of the Protocol every time and each one has been comfortable and up to expectations. If your looking into a Protocol shoe that's within 30 to 45 bucks (or cheaper), I must say they are an excellent deal.Ran a bit small so I exchanged them for a 1/2 size bigger and that did the trick. They look great but there are some workmanship issues with osiris shoes. Ex the hole for the lace is poorly matched with the cloth on the back so you have to rummage a bit to get the lace through.I only wear them to walk around town in style but if i wanted these for some aggressive activity i might think twice. For $50 I hope they survive at least 6mos but they look cool enough that i took a chance and also bought a red/black pair. Wish me luck!These shoes are the hottest shoes ive seen in such a long time! They are sturdy they look clean they are perfect with any color jeans, cute jean shorts I am in love with my shoes and theres no one ive talked to in person thsinceci got them and wore them on saturdy, that has not complimented my "cool shoes". Everybody loves them, the added 2 inch hight boost, is none id complain about at all. Im so glad I ordered these finally, im positive if any one of you guys and girls out there orders a pair of these, youll be just as happy with them. Oh and their extremely easy on my feet, the firm chunkyness of the entire shoe is a total relief on my buisy feet.This is my second pair of these, I bought the black red and white ones when they were discounted at a local store and I fell in love. They do require some breaking in, but once you wear them around, they are super comfortable. I'm a women and I wear a size 10 in women's and I always buy and 8.5 in men's and these are no exception. The other pair that I have are still going strong, I've had them for about a year, but I don't wear them all day every day cause I don't want to ruin them at work. I just wanted an all black pair. I think they are a great pair of skate shoes for the price, and they look great.I'm wear 10 1/2 - 11, these I got an 11 the toe is a lil narrow for me I guess I have a wider foot but they're are nice and they're leather so I'm sure they will fit just perfect in no timeShoe is a little tight on the toes. Once they're broken in they fit great! Give it about week. Other than that I really like them. I've bought 3 pairs of these already in different color ways :) I've been skating for 7 years and yes they are awesome to skate in! Great grip, great flip control, overall just great :)I bought these for a friend so unfortunately I could not wear them, however, I did open the box and check them out before I gave them do him :3. He did say they were great and I did like the look. Very fast delivery, he claims a good, comfy fit. 4 stars because I didn't get to keep them :[These were absolutely beautiful. Even the box was stunning! The black laces were bit dull though, so I swapped them for one yellow lace and one purple lace. The grey circuitry pattern is reflective and looks awesome when cars drive past at night. I got so many complements about them, they really stand out!But why then have I only given them 3 stars? My disappointment was with the material quality! Normally, a pair of shoes like this, I'd expect to last about a year, maybe two. These were wrecked in 3-4 months! The pieces are made from plastic, not leather and the sides split by the little toe. Plus the soles now offer little support so whatever they're made of cant take any punishment. If this is what I can expect fro Osiris then I'm never buying the brand again, but I suspect that these were made as cheaply as possible and sold for as much as possible on the assumption that fans would buy them and only take them out of the box to look at them.Only gave a four star because they really didn't hold up to much skating, first session i had in them and they started tearing badly. All in all i had them about a month, but obviously i was skating them pretty much everyday. Amazing shoe though i'll get another pair soon (just no skating in them!) lolThese lasted me some time! exactly what you want from a shoe!Good build quality. not as good though as other Osiris shoes on the marketI do really like these but I ordered a 9 but they fit like an 8! so go a size up from your normal size. just waiting on the seller to get back to me whether I can exchange for a bigger size.Good quality shoes and efficient service. Would recommend
