Finally took the plunge and purchased this on sale.Overall - it's beautiful and very functional! I'm extremely happy with it. It was easy to put together with two people (less than 2 hours; we did use a drill). The drawers work smoothly and overall it's just a very sturdy piece of furniture. We are able to fit 3 pairs of regular shoes (sizes W9, M10) in the bottom section of each drawer and then slimmer items like slippers/crocs/sandals in the top part.At first I was disappointed because I could not tell in the listing pictures or reviews that the white is actually a white grain, so it's supposed to look like white wood, not just a solid color. It also is not pure white, so if that's what you're looking for this isn't it (hence "antique white" I guess!). I was worried the ivory grain look was going to clash with our true white molding, but luckily the greige color of our walls complements it perfectly and the piece actually adds some warmth to the area.The top wood piece is *really* nice which was a relief. I have purchased Amazon pieces before that are supposed to look like wood but look super fake and almost computer generated, just not natural looking at all. Also, we attached the drawers inversely of what they were in the listing because I'm not a huge fan of the barn door look and the instructions mentioned this as an option. I wanted to make this piece skew slightly more "modern" in our modern farmhouse style. Personal preference but thought it was cool that you personalize that part a little.**Sharing this because I couldn't find any furniture designed for baseboard heaters as high as ours (8"), so maybe this will help someone else! We modified this piece to fit above our baseboard heater box. So we removed the back legs and purchased longer legs to attach to the front. Between the front legs and "mounting" it to the wall at the top with the provided hardware, it's very sturdy and looks great in the space. We will probably still add blocks where the back legs were just for added support. The length of this cabinet was perfect for the length of the baseboard box (about 10" longer than other similar shoe cabinets).
