got the shoes on expected date and holy S*** they look better in person and fit like they are and extension of me. I skateboard and have been doing so for 15 years and have been through all sorts of shoe trends and styles but at the end of the day it comes down to comfort and board feel with at least a 3 weeks to 6 weeks of where in them. If you do the math thats a lot of shoes in a year and a lot of money one does not want to waste. DC has got the idea down with this model and a few others. they fit like a glove and then some so if you have a fat foot try something else cause i doubt you're really skating and these are "skate shoes" I wouldn't where moccasins on the LA marathon. the super suede is the best material for durability and though we think rubber toe caps or ollie guards make a difference your wrong, all shoes give out if you really do shred "except Saviours but thats another story for another time". then the price point is unheard of for a great skate shoe i mean really most skate shoes run 40-80 bones and will probably forever. and finally the style is without question aesthetically the best point, they are what a skate shoe needs and the simplicity we want. no more muska models, no more Osiris high top club shoes no more vans look alikes. this shoe is right up there with the greats in my book and im going to stock up on more and already ordered the "studio" model in red just for comfort and looks and "Wes & council" models too to see if there worth it too.Good shoes and cheap! The sole is thin, but I love the feel on my feet. Fits small but still snug with laces tied.I have never worn this style of shoe before. Consequently, I did not order them large enough. The toe area is very narrow, I mean very, very narrow. When I first tried them on, I thought I was going to have to send them back. I decided to try them out for a day and I'm glad i did. They are starting to loosen up a little and getting more comfortable every day. I ordered a half size up, but I should have went a whole size up since there were no width options available when I ordered. I wear them with thin socks and lace them very loosely and they are fine for what I need them for, which is sitting at a desk all day. These shoes have little to no arch support, but that is the style. Again, I am sitting more than standing so this is not a problem with me. If these go on sale again, I will definitely pick up another pair. I love the look of these shoes.Good cheap vulcanized skate shoe! Sole is sooo thin but I love the board feel. If you're bombing stairs you may want some thicker insoles or different shoe! Fits a lil big but still snug with laces tied.Saw one review that these are not durable after the person wore them for 5 months....any shoe will bust open if you have wide enough feet and a gait that isn't perfect, especially after months of use. These are SKATE shoes, and the ones priced at less than 30 are DIRT CHEAP considering they have triple stitching which is nearly impossible to find on a modern style skate shoe (aka NOT a tech shoe). I've skated these HARD about 5 times and they didn't even show wear for the first 2 sessions. However I'd say these are average durability (as in they'll last 2-3 weeks with avg. Skating) apart from that extra stitch which makes a BIG difference!I have flat feet and am more used to how Van's fit; however, I have been experiencing trouble with the quality of Van's footwear. I decided to purchase these and while they fit mostly how I had expected, there is a bit of arch support. I am sure this would delight most but I have flat feet and arch supports hurt my feet until they flatten out. The first couple of hours were unbearable after that they have been super comfortable. These are very high quality 10/10.tl;dr: Great shoes, even with my weird feet.In general, men's shoes are made a bit wider than women's shoes because obviously men generally have wider feet than women. Since I had my second child, my feet have grown quite a bit wider than they used to be, and it's hard to find women's shoes that fit properly and comfortably without paying an arm and a leg for them. I found these which were $13 at the time, and since they are DC shoes (which are generally made as skateboarding shoes and are typically wider than average shoes) I figured they would be perfect. (Also, my brother has super wide flat feet and has worn DC shoes for years with no complaints.) When I received them, I tried them on and was very surprised at how uncomfortable and narrow they were! They were the right length for my feet, but they were way too narrow. It was actually painful just trying them on so I didn't even bother with trying to properly lace and tie them. I just put them back in the box, printed out a return form, and immediately took them to my local UPS store. Very disappointed.I bought these shoes on a whim because my size dropped ridiculously in price here on Amazon. After having them for a few months now, let me tell you these are my favorite shoes to wear now! The suede leather is amazingly comfortable around your foot and everything about them fits perfectly. Also, the slim padding around the opening helps keep your jeans from hanging up on the heel of the shoe if you like to wear jeans with a smaller opening. Fantastic shoe! I will be buying again once these wear out. Best $18 I've ever spent.Good quality skate shoes. They do not provide arch support, are not good for hiking, are not running shoes, and probably not what you want for basketball. But the are durable and well made. I am not a skater, but have always like this style of shoe, as it is a simple design and made to take a beating.I have size 10 feet but wear these for everyday wear. They're snug on first wear but quickly size to your foot shape with no discomfort. Excellent skater-oriented cushioned sole and inner means you can walk around all day with no discomfort. I switched from Etnies to DCs a while back and the Tonik S and Tonik M are my favourite shoe.I wear the heel material out slightly quickly (bony heels) so perhaps consider some adhesive heel protectors and use a shoe horn. Spray them with suede/nubuck protector (or the Timpsons fabric protector spray) -- aside from that, they'll wear with months of daily use without complaint. Fundamental manufacturing quality and construction are sound, seams well finished and no bad stitches. These are great shoes for versatile wearing. Because of the dark colour, you can wear them with smart-casual clothes as well as casual if you so wish. They look very cool in the winter or the summer!I normally wear Etnies, and the reason I have taken a star off is because these don't have as thick a canvas and lining, especially each side of the shoe. This means the shoes aren't quite as stable to walk in as a good Etnie skate shoe and therefore also not as hard-wearing. The stability and structure of the shoe is important to me as I have slight bunions in my toes.Other than that, great price for what you get.Fits perfect, superb soles on this and great for long hours. but I've already torn these just by walking in them .. so the outer is not as durable as the inner.Really nice skate shoes - I no longer skate so can't say how they wopuld hold up to repeated ollying (suspect they don't wear too well as no reinforcement where you would be dragging the toe to olly) but look the business as a pair of fashion trainers.the fabric has failed after having the for less than a month, disappointed
