Cute as a bug and they fit! They look great with khakis, jeans, and slacks. Great with pants, crops, and shorts. What a treat. It's been so hard to find any that fit at all, to have a pair look so versatile makes the price per wearing a steal. I bought these for my mom who has super wide feet plus painful arthritis. Most supposedly extra wide shoes are not extra wide. (I wear a traditional wide shoe myself, so I can get away with the more common ones (that is, I can actually find wide at local shoe stores. I mention that because shopping for super wide shoes is frustrating when you have to take a chance online: order one, wait for it to ship, try it, be disappointed, send it back, try again.) It did take us a couple of tries to get the size right - these are actually a bit too long for their sizes.(And with arthritis and shaky walking, the last thing you want is a long toe to trip over. The velcro strap that makes this totally cute mary jane is easy to use for weak hands, but, more important, mom can simply set her foot down into the shoe without shoving or twisting. The one disappointment: to achieve super wide, you have to take the extra insoles out, and that means giving up some of the cushion. It does let you customize each foot. Maybe these will become popular enough to make a true extra wide that's as squishy as those for smaller feet. Saving up for another pair, and looking for a slick leather pair for an even dressier look.I am very particular about my shoes - they have to be very comfortable and they have to look good, too! These shoes are extremely comfortable. I ordered a size 8.5 because I wanted to wear heavy socks during the winter months, even in S. California, on cool nights. They do expose a large amount of socks, more than I expected. If they weren't so comfortable, I would probably have returned them for something with less open space. There is plenty of room for my wide toes. They have just enough support for my balance problems, and don't feel like they will slip off my feet because the strap is sturdy, while flexible. The fabric is felt-like and warm and just strong enough to give adequate support. They are easy to slip on & off, which is a treat for me. I think they are best worn with pants or jeans, not skirts.I wear a 9.5 W2(EE). This has been the first pair of closed shoes I have been able to find that fit me and are comfortable, an almost impossible combination. , I have always had to wear sandals with socks or sneakers during the winter. . .I can wear them all day without any discomfort and they look stylish for my size. .They are adult Mary Janes. They are my miracle shoes. I have 2 pair in black and will be ordering the blue. Propet is the best for wide feet. They are sturdy, stylish and comfortable. I'm not a youngster and I have orthopedic feet. Now I have acceptable shoes thanks to Propet. Trust me you'll love these...These reviews, when it comes to fit, are hard for me to answer. Because of nerve damage in my right leg and foot, I wear an ankle/foot brace. The brace takes up more room in my shoe. I have to find a shoe that will fit my brace on the right, yet will fit my left with minor modifications. This shoe stretches to fit around my brace. The strap is elastic so will accommodate both feet. The top of the heel has a band of elastic so the heel fits better and doesn't slip. They are very lightweight. I would highly recommend you try these shoes, especially if you have to accommodate different size feet like I do.Will be ordering another pair because these are so comfortable if you have problem toes - hammer or bunions. The top fabric is stretchy and forgiving. If I have any concern it is that with walking my big toe nail will start abrading it from the inside but a bandaid laid over the area should handle that. It's actually a pretty cute shoe and I get away wearing it with black and grey work slacks. I also like the black sole - makes it more seasonal. The adjustable strap is also a thumbs up.I have bunions that force me to purchase wide width shoes. Because the rest of my foot is not wide, shoes that are comfortable for my bunions fall off my heels. I purchased these shoes because of the stretch strap and the stretch around the top of the heel. The elastic does not seem to be a very good quality. I have been wearing them for 2 weeks and the elastic is already stretched out and I can't tighten them enough to keep the heels from falling off. I would have thought that Propet would have used more reliable materials.I HAVE DIABETES AND NEURAPATHY IN BOTH FEET. I WANTED A SHOE I COULD WEAR AS A SANDAL IN SUMMER WITHOUT SOCKS. I NEEDED ONE THAT WAS DIABETIC FRIENDLY. MY PRIORITY WAS THAT IT WAS SMOOTH INSIDE. WELL, THANK GOD I DIDN'T TAKE THESE AT THEIR WORDS! I WORE THEM IN THE HOUSE FOR ONLY ONE HOUR AND THERE IS A SEAM IN THE INSIDE AT THE TOP OF THE SHOE THAT HITS YOUR TOES. BECAUSE IT IS A HARD SEAM AND BECAUSE I COULD NOT FEEL IT, IT CUT THE TOP OF MY TOE OFF! I HAD TO GO TO EMERGENCY AND IT TOOK 1 MONTH FOR IT TO HEAL. THANK GOD THAT IT DID!TOO BAD, BECAUSE THE SHOE WAS REALLY COMFORTABLE. OTHERWISE. YOU JUST HAVE TO WEAR SOCKS...FOR SURE!!!First shoe that works for my elderly mother with feet that are starting to show serious decline. The soft sides give her toes space and the velcro closure keeps them on her feed. The elastic at the back of the heel holds the shoe in place without cutting into her heel. The height and material of the sole work well for her and gives her support and stability. So grateful to have found these.Great shoes, very comfortable and breathable. Love them.
