Built for the trail yet lightweight for everyday wear, these shoes stand up to light rain and puddles with a water-resistant upper that dries fast and lets air flow freely. They're durable and supportive, with an improved fit that better supports the natural shape of a woman’s foot. An engineered underfoot system delivers superior comfort, stability, and rebound. The traction rubber sole keeps you sure-footed on the move. Columbia offers this hiking shoe in multiple colors and sizes.
Omni-Grip non-marking traction rubber
Gender Specific Comfort Zones: Tongue Lace Pillow, Heel Foam Engineering and Met Flex Window. Breathable multi-mesh materials with suede overlays for added protection. I am still trying these out so have only worn them inside, but so far I really like them. I have moderately wide feet, and the 9W feels great. The sole seems firm enough for various surfaces, including moderately rough ones. I see no immediate issues with support. I have been wearing pretty pricey shoes with great support but oddly wide soles (if you wear that brand, you probably know what I’m talking about). The Columbias actually fit my foot, which is terrific. They’re also perfectly fine looking. If these perform as well outside, I may get another pair. I used to really love Columbias as a walking shoe, so now that I wear a wider size it was a delight to find these in a 9W.
