I had Sebagos growing up and with their reemergence in popularity, I wanted to get a new pair. After reading a ton of reviews (and because I didn't want to spend $90), I ended up getting the suede pair in Metallic Nickel for only $35. I ordered my normal size (9M) and although the toe box is slightly narrow, they do run true to size and I'm glad I didn't order a half size down or up. Even without socks, they aren't too big (so I guess in that case they might be slightly smaller than size 9 sneakers?). "Metallic" suggests a shimmery quality which does not show up in any of the pictures I saw online; however, they are definitely meant to be shimmery, but you can only see it if you hold it directly up to a light. This might vary from pair to pair. I really didn't want my tan shoes to be shiny/shimmery in any way, but it is barely noticeable and it doesn't bother me. What's nice about the suede is that it is super soft right out of the box; based on other reviews, the classic leather ones seem to need a lot of breaking in and some reviewers suggested that the leather quality has gone downhill. Anyways, I was searching for a good deal and I definitely found one.
