This shoe has a very wide toe box, for anyone who needs it. The top of the shoe is very lightweight and well made. The sole seems a little heavy. Insoles and padding are very good. Overall, the shoe could run too wide, if you do not truly have a wide foot or problem feet.Took a bit longer to receive than I expected but otherwise good. Shoes size 6.5 wide are roomy, have a removable innersole for insertion of an orthodic, and very supportive. They are a heavier shoe than some others.I might find it hard to put an arch support in these shoes but they are designed with decent support to help keep my feet happy.I was disappointed. The shoe had a hard inner sole no padding which I thought was the point of shoe for elderly. Plus, it felt wide and a little too largeI always buy this shoe. Store was out of size so ordered online. Like them a lot!The shoe is one of the most uncomfortable I have ever worn. Maybe it's just a pair I received but I have been unable to wear them because they hurt the bottom of my feet. The footbed is just uneven and the thin padding that came with it does not compensate for all the little bumps in the foot bed. That makes me think there are quality control issues with Drew shoes
