I purchased a blue plastic pen/pencil holder from Amazon before this purchase. That blue holder was flimsy and not sturdy. This pen/pencil holder is the opposite and does it's job as intended. Amazing what can be done by simply drilling holes in a piece of wood as opposed to engineering a device that is not customer friendly from the start.
