Ive bought & worn Osiris shoes for 20 years. These protocol lows are the ONLY pair ive ever had that hurt my feet worse than new dress shoes. Terrible, TERRIBLE, toe pinch. Threw away the box as soon as I got them cuz I have a dozen pair of Osiris shoes and never expected them to hurt my feet so badly, so I cant even retun them. SMH. Gonna try to donate them to someone whos able to wear them , I can't.These are the OG skate shoes, had a pair when I first started skating @ 13 years old Ollie & kick flips all day long. Now I'm 27 & buying them again to pick up an old good habit of skating these shoes really all depend on the grip tape you use as to how long they will last & what part of your foot you flip the board with buts lets assume you use the grippiest tape. The rubber sole goes pretty high up which protects you with Ollie's but flip tricks tear through the upper material pretty quick as a beginner they lasted me 2 months before I started getting a hole in. Now I would not buy for serious skaters but there at that price point where you can change them every month. They are Also a little on the heavy side but when there fresh they look dope with khakis or Jean's very versatile style. Comfortable but no arch support can be fixed with an insert I assume.I've read that as you get older your feet get larger, esp if you are over 40. I'm 74 and have been having a lot of trouble buying an online shoe that's large enough. When I was younger I could wear a 11. But lately 11 is too small. This time I bought a 12 and still too small, about 1 size too small so I returned the 12s and ordered 13s. Also it's possible that synthetic leather has no stretch to it. Other than that, it's a beautfiul shoe.I bought these shoes for bike rides so I could have great grip and be comfortable while I was on the ride. And they did just that! My feet don’t hurt after a long ride and I haven’t slipped off my pedals yet. My only issue, a small one at that, is the laces are bit too long to feel safe on bike rides. With long laces, they can slip past the pedal and into the gears which cause a immobility to whichever foot is caught and would in turn cause a crash. Trust me it’s happened many times. Other than that it’s a really great product. Good fit, comfortable, and doesn’t crush my toes if I kick something. A well deserved five starsThese shoes looks cool, but the shape is not made for humans. I suspect the price reflects the quality of design and construction. The tie box is tiny so I sent the first pair back and got the next size up. The shape at the front of the foot was still weird, but I figured they'd eventually stretch to fit my feet. They did a bit. Next ai had a plantar fasciitis flare up (extreme heel pain) because of the overly soft insole, no arch and soft outer sole. I put a special insole in to help the problem because I like how these shoes look, but I think I need to just toss them and try something else. The I sole has worked to relieve the pain, but not completely.Birthday gift for my fiancé.I received my item in a timely manner. Everything was in order, and they fit well. This is unacceptable, even if they weren't expensive, I always felt Osiris had good quality items, clearly things have changed. I missed the refund by 10 days, which is a shame. Wouldn't bother buying these, cheap or not.Lovely trainers perfect fit. And at a great price.Comfortable to wear for long periods.Needed new shoes, these were perfect, good fit :)
