This is an excellent product. Sturdy metal construction with fairly thick wooden seat gives support for even my large frame (250 lbs). I wouldn't sit on it for an extended period of time, but I feel that it comfortably supports my weight long enough for me to take on or off a pair of boots.Instruction manual is surprisingly well written with tips such as "half tighten all the screws until fully assembled" included in the introduction and tips section, which is written in English, Español, and Deutsch. For the North American market, I'm surprised German was chosen over say French, Chinese, Korean, Tagalog, or Japanese, but okay.Once you get past the introduction and advice section, the rest of the instructions should be pretty familiar to anyone who buys furniture products from a certain Swedish big box store. Taking my time with it, and not even remotely rushing, setup took me just under 30 minutes.Once you've assembled each half of the bench, one side slides right into the other, and then you screw in the support brackets that hold the two pieces together. Then it's just a matter of going around and tightening all the bolts with the included Allen key . They're also nice enough to include an extra of each type of bolt. No extra feet though, which is understandable. If you lose a foot while assembling, you should be able to find it. They're kind of big.It's thin profile at just over 11" means it comfortably fits in most doorways with plenty of walkway clearance. As it is fairly lightweight given it's sturdy construction, moving it out of the way to bring in boxes or other bulky items is a breeze and can easily be done by one person.The one thing this understandably lacks is a great deal of storage, at least for someone like me with size 14 shoes. It will fit one pair of boots, two pairs of shoes/sneakers, and maybe two pairs of sandals if you put one sandal on top of the other. Anyone with size 10 or above shoes will be hard pressed to fit 5 pairs of shoes on these shelves. Despite this gripe, it really is the perfect size for my space. Any larger would be in the way of the door or would come too far into the living room. Of course this can be corrected by buying additional racks if you have the space (which I don't so I make this work).Overall, I am very impressed with this product, and would definitely buy from this manufacturer again.Great job!
