This is the second pair I have purchased. I have a hard time with shoes fitting. I am very happy with these shoes for walking.I am recovering from a broken ankle and this is the first shoe I wore after graduating from the boot. Prior to my accident, I walked 3 miles a day at a nearby track . I feel like these shoes offer the comfort and support to help me get back to 3 miles a day. I'm very pleased with this shoe.Love this shoe. Very comfortable, can wear the style to work, and LASTS. Decided to write a review when i noticed I've bought the same brand 5 years in a row, this particular shoe now 3 times, always the first week in June. I walk 5-6 miles a day, and wear these shoes 3-5 times a week for ~6 months (the mesh upper isn't great for snowy winter weather). Once they wear out, i use them for backyard chores. They fail the same way: the insole wears out under the ball of my foot, and once a hole begins to form, it grows fast. I never untie them, so usually a hole also forms on the heel where i stick my finger to get them on. The way i walk, i always blow a hole through the top above my right big toe, in every shoe I've ever owned. The last pair actually resisted this, although pattern returned for the most recent pair. Pictures are of my old shoes to show the wear, the grey pair now 2 years old, the blue one year old. Soles hold up pretty well.really surprised...was ready to send back on opening box. They LOOKED much smaller than my New Balance (which I like)...but when I held them up next to the New Balance, they were the same length...they look much smaller; they even seem narrower than the "wide" I want...but...and this is a huge BUT with me, they not only fit nicely they cure a problem. I have problem feet and swelling on the instep (lymph or edema above my toes o the top and swollen ankles (I also have a special medical wrap for the ankle to the knee for this condition), so here is the BUT....the shoes have memory foam and with the ties and with their specific ladies fit (rather than the bulky New Balance) they work to help me keep the swelling down...they don't hurt at all...they fit from the moment I tried them on...I wore them all day to see if they would hurt and they don't.......I really likethis shoe and telling my friends about them. Usually I only want all organic (no synthetic) but these shoes do their job in the area of comfort. For "normal" folks, you will really like these, Ladies! p.s. they are VERY VERY LIGHTWEIGHT which makes toes easier to move and they are flattering to the female foot. PS..PLEASE don't buy these as they are prime shipping and I might want another pair; OK JUSTKIDDINGComfy right out of the box. Snug in the heel and roomy in the toe box. I liked them so much that I immediately ordered a second pair in a different colour. After wearing them a few times they felt a bit too wide, so much so that I had to double check that I had ordered the medium width and not the wide. Yup, I got the medium ones. I just tightened the laces till they felt more supportive. The reason I give them four stars instead of five is there isn't a whole heckuva lot of padding in the sole. I suspect walking on concrete for extended periods or on gravel will be uncomfortable and I may buy some cushy insoles to put in them if this is the case. So far I'm very happy with my Ryka shoes.I'm on my feet a lot with my job as a veterinarian. I first tried the Ryka brand with an amazon wardrobe order, I was looking at more familiar brands like new balance, saucony, asics, etc. I liked the look of the Ryka's and they had good reviews so I also got a pair to compare. They were by far the most comfortable of the lot. My first pair were the devotion 2 line. I think they are a little more comfortable then this line (Sky Walk) but very similar fit. This line is priced less then the devotion 2. I like that this company makes tennis shoes specifically for women. The fit is great and they are very comfortable. My first pair lasted about one year before started losing parts from the sole. I just got 2 more pair. Thanks Ryka for a great, comfortable, and affordably priced tenis shoe!I have a difficult foot due to a traumatic injury. Atrophied toes, loss of arch etc. These shoes fit perfectly. And that goes for both feet. Previously I always had to take ibuprofen at work to ease my foot pain, now I do not. I highly recommend these shoes.I like a shoe that you don't have to "break in" and this almost fits that description. Once it is on it is extremely comfortable. The memory foam is wonderful. It's just a bit tight in the heel and you almost need a shoe horn to get it on. Maybe it will loosen up as time goes on. I don't want to loosen the laces as they are a bit short and are just enough to make a bow. If I loosen the laces it would mean less length to make the bow. Ryka give us longer laces!! Other wise it is a very comfortable shoe. the arch is in the correct place and feels so good when walking. The color in the advert shows a light blue shoe, but it is really a periwinkle, which is pretty. but its not just blue. Thinking of buying another pair!Love the shoes. they are extremely light and comfortable. I love walking long distances and so far so good. Great price too. I don't give it five stars because the shoelaces on mine are very short to the point that it is almost impossible to create a full loop.One shoe fit well. The other seemed like it was a size too small. Sent them back.Comfortable and love the colour.Very pleased. Needed a good quality shoe after recovery from a broken foot.
