Good shoe for walking on the beach and they are waterproof as well. I wore these shoes all vacation long from beach, sight seeing to dinner they worked well for a Florida vacation. They take up little room in ones suitcase and I would say are a must because they can be used day or night, wet or dry walking environments and they have a simple but tasteful style that would fit for a great beach vacation or summer at the lake.
