I bought this for seed trays to take advantage of my bag window's natural light and get some vertical utilization. They are the perfect dimension for my 200 cell trays and the space between shelves in perfect because as soon as my seedlings are a couple inches tall they go out to the greenhouse anyways. With three racks I can fit 28 seed trays across my 47" long 53" high bay window. So for $75 for the set that beats every other actual grow rack by miles and I like that these are slimmer and the shelves are closer together for more trays to go on, which fits my needs perfect since it's just for seed trays starting.These racks feel very sturdy, easy to put together once you wrap your head around the process for a minute. I'm sure they'd work great for shoes too if you're buying them for their actual purpose, but don't expect to put any high tops or ankle boots on these because those are probably too tall.
