Currently hold 9 pairs of shoes, but having it under the bed, after a week of daily sliding and opening /closing, the front handle of the longer side ripped off and left me with two quarter sized holes on the bag. I've placed a denim strip across the area, and re attached the handle, there is more durability.Remember, there is no stiff partitions here in this one, just like many, which I guess allows you squeeze that extra pair of ballet flats easily.Okay, it officially broke. I went to close the zipper (7 pairs of shoes) and the zipper was open on both sides. then the seam opened up where the clear plastic is, and it got thrown away July 1st, 2014. So even taking good care of it is not that great. This would only come in handy maybe if you were changing seasonal shoes, where you touch it annually. Otherwise, decide on something else.
