I started experienced foot pain and developed bunions. I realized my work shoes, which were size 11, were too small and not wide enough as my toes were getting squished. My running shoes for example are 11.5 and while my feet fit fine in them, my toes reach the end of the shoes quickly. Doing a good Internet search I saw shoes should have just a little wiggle room at the end. So, by logic, I thought, all right, I'll find a good pair of work shoes that are size 12 and are wide. Which is what brings me here.This shoes comes at a respectable price and has a lot of 5-star reviews with prime shipping and with the color I need it to be. It's a no brainer. Order it. It comes in. I try them on. THEY'RE MASSIVE. They look wonderful and the insoles they come with feel great but I can move my feet back and forth in the shoes. At first I thought I miscalculated. However, I then added the insoles that I bought with them (thinking the ones it came with would be trash like so many other shoes I have ordered in the past).The insoles I bought are made for shoes 11-12.5. I put them in these shoes WITHOUT cutting them at all. These shoes are just a bit bigger than 12.5! Even though I ordered a size 12. The width is great. I did get them in wide. My toes were able to not stay cooped up together side by side but the length is abysmal.The other issue I had is that they got that "sticky" sound when walking on hardwood floor. Could just be because they're new. Not too concerned about that. Probably would go away after a week or so of consistent use. Just something I noticed.I'm definitely going to return these and probably order another pair for 11.5 wide and hopefully that'll be the appropriate size. It's just such a huge waste of time. I'll just keep wearing my nonslip running shoes to work for the moment or maybe I'll just go directly to a shoe store tomorrow. These are great shoes but the sizing is so off. They can be the greatest shoes ever made in the history of humanity but if they don't fit, they're just useless. Size 12 shoes, and they'll closer to size 13, being just a bit longer than my 12.5 shoe insoles. Crazy.Good / less costly mountain bike shoe alternative. The slip resistant bottoms work pretty good on flat pedals. Also provide toe protection if or when you get a pedal strike. I ordered down 1/2 size and they fit.I have to wear all black shoes for work and I am around liquids on the floors sometimes, so I thought these would be perfect for me. My feet can't take boots anymore and I've been wearing black tennis shoes for a couple of years now. I wanted a shoe that was a little more tactical less tennis shoe or cooks looking shoe. So I went with these. I can wear them all day and love the look of them but when I'm on shiny floors the soles squeak bad! I've been wearing them for a month now and it hasn't gotten any better. None shiny floor, quiet as a mouse. Shiny, they can hear me coming down the hall. I'm going to take some sandpaper to the bottoms to rough them up and hope that helps.Perfect for daily use. Strong. Ïf you use insoles you can change it without problems .I've been wearing these work shoes for over a year now. Most comfortable shoe ever worn. I am on my feet on concrete 10 hours every day.
