Merrell Women's Hiking & Trail Walking Shoes - Lightweight, Waterproof & Comfortable for Outdoor Adventures, Hiking, and Travel

I previously ordered the Moab 2 vent style - they were much heavier and a bit uncomfortable near the tongue. I decided to get these hikers as my foot does run a bit narrow and there were many comments to this type of fit. For me, they are perfect! Lightweight + comfortable - I'm glad I paid more to get these.They are comfortable overall but did not feel wide enough in the toe box. And I tried the wide.This is my second pair of these shoes! Perfect for short hikes, yard work, etc. Do not leak water in and have AMAZING arch support.I ordered these shoes as I wanted a good quality Water Proof hiking shoe. These shoes are great but the ones I received are not the water proof version. I still like the shoes so decided to keep them rather than go through the hassle of packing them up and going to the shipping depot to return them. I contacted the Seller who was very responsive and apologetic. Since I was keeping the shoes, and the non-water proof version typically sells for $10 less than Water Proof, I just asked for a $10 refund, which was promptly issued to my account. I still want the Water Proof shoes but I was told they are not available at this time from this Seller. The 2 versions look identical so check the box if you buy these....Water Proof shoes will have a "WP" following the Item # on the side of the box. I had bought a pair of Water Proof Siren Edge 3 last summer and kept the box so I was able to compare. I am still looking for a 2nd pair in 7.5 Wide. Love the shoes but I have also found slight variations in the fit. They work for me, though. And the Seller was very cooperative in this case, just wish there was more reliability in ordering through Amazon.I needed new hiking shoes for my weekly hiking club. My old ones were dried out and not gripping as well as they should on slippery surfaces and rocks. Friends who are serious hikers recommended Merrells, said I couldn't go wrong. And they were right, I love these shoes. Feel more confident and secure on hikes. Plus the waterproof feature is a plus as my feet stay dry. I would mention that as with most running and hiking shoes and boots, a half size larger than regular shoe size is recommended, to allow toes to freely grip on challenging surfaces and room for slightly thicker socks than we might wear.These shoes are sturdy yet flexible, warm yet breaths and just an all around great product.Took these on our vacation to the mountains. These shoes were very comfortable for my first hike in them. The quality seems superb. By the end of the day my feet did seem tired. We probably did more than 15000 steps!!!Will buy these shoes againI was so pleased with these shoes, completely waterproof, comfortable, good fit and reasonable price. However after one month they split across the toe. I had missed the return date by one day so contacted Amazon customer support to arrange a refund. Then I checked the price for a replacement, but this colour is no longer in stock. I could buy another colour but instead of £44 I’d have to pay £140. I am so disappointed as these were the best waterproof trainers I’ve ever worn but £44 for one months wear is unreasonable. Update * another 3 weeks of wear and now they’re letting in water! So disappointed!I have been wanting to buy some Merrill trainers for about a year but there is such a selection I couldn’t make my mind up which ones to buy. Having finally bought some I am delighted with them . I wanted comfort and for them to be waterproof. I wanted to use them for dog walking and cycling and they are perfect for both. Would highly recommend.Great fit for my feet. I liked these so much I have ordered 3 pairs in different colours. This is because I am exercising by walking much more than before lockdown, and I wanted to make sure I had this model when my first pair wear out. They are very comfortable and supportive but lightweight.Lightweight, nice style, good support as you would expect from Merrell, but these are almost an inch shorter than other Merrell shoes I have in the same size. I can only wear them with thin socks. If you find their other styles snug, then I recommend going up a half size in these.Super fitting trainers. Have had 2 pairs in the past and they’re great for my problem feet. I can walk and walk. Don’t need them to do anything special but just offer comfort and support.
